ABOUT
US
Carolyn Burgess Kelly and Susan Shannon are the co-founders of Salt + Silver, located in the heart of Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, Maine.
Inspired by the raw beauty of the sea, we pair genuine, hand-collected sea glass with natural freshwater pearls, precious gemstones, and sterling silver to create wearable works of art. Each piece is designed to be as unique and organic as the treasures it's made from—crafted for you to wear, love, and pass on.
In April 2025, we rebranded from Sea Glass Jewelry Studio to Salt + Silver. This transition followed the sale of our Kennebunkport location and the original brand name to a dear friend and former employee. While the name may be new, we’re still rooted right here in Ogunquit, bringing fresh energy, inspired designs, and the same heart you’ve always known.
Salt + Silver is a collaboration of Maine local and international artists producing beautiful, often one of a kind, pieces of jewelry.
